what did the hospital trust say when you took it up with them? you have done that haven't you?

I started a new job on 04/12/24 at a primary care centre in Burnley as a healthcare professional. I am living away from the address where my car is registered (just outside of London). I had found a car park stated as being for Hospital staff members (which is what I am). I did not have a Hospital permit at the time and I was told by a colleague that while I was waiting for my Hospital permit to be processed, it was okay to park there. In addition, the signage had stated that there was a maximum 3 hour stay period between 12am - 1pm and max 11 hour stay period between 1pm - 12am. I did not read this stipulation before I parked in this car park. The car park was operating using an ANPR system.
8 days later, on 12/12/24 I received a PCN from SIP car parks, sent to the address where my car is registered. I appealed this immediately, stating that my Hospital permit was being processed.
During this period, I have received 3 PCNs, dated 5/12/24, 6/12/24, 9/12/24.
I received a response after 2 weeks on 24 Dec 2024, stating the first appeal had been rejected and I was required to pay the fine of £60 within 14 days or £100 thereafter. This was their response: 'your vehicle was parked in a manner other than in accordance with the signage situated at the car park.'
I had began using the Hospital permit that I believed would be valid for the car park on 16/12/24 and parked in the car park everyday from 16/12/24 – 20/12/24.
However, I have now received in the post fines for, 16/12/24, 17/12/24, 18/12/24, 19/12/24 , 20/12/24 (x2).
As the car park works using an ANPR system, fines were not placed on my windscreen but rather were sent to the address registered with my vehicle.
Had I received a ticket on my windscreen the first day, and had I had a prompt response to my appeal, I would certainly not have parked in the same carpark while my permit was being processed. In addition, if it had been made clear to me the Hospital permit that I applied for that is valid for the hospital car park was not valid for this specific car park, and a different one was required, I would not have continued to park there.
As a result, I am being faced with a current total of 9 PCNs, equating to £540, which is a large sum of money to pay for someone that is just going to work.
I have since appealed each of the 9 fines and I am awaiting a response. I would be grateful for any advice in dealing with this situation, as I would be content with paying 1 fine for my carelessness, but 9 seems unreasonable.
