A course will be offered, unless you've done one in the three years preceding the offence.

Well 50 in 40 should see an offer of 3 points and £100, you won't get less points than that (unless a course is offered).
Title: S172: NIP and Requirement for Driver Information

Hi,

50mph in a 40mph zone. Genuine mistake. Received an NIP.

Seems pretty standard and straightforward. They need the details of the driver.

I've taken advice from the members here a few times so I just wanted to pop on to make sure I'm doing everything properly.

I know there's unlikely to be any leeway but is there any way we can get the lowest fine/points?

Any advice appreciated.

Thank you  :)
