Preparing a jingle: ABBA "Money, money, money". Have the mannequin, PR system etc ready.

I drive all night, I drive all day to pay the bills I have to.  That it be.

Every street and every road there seems to be a camera____fixed on me.

A ticket comes in the post. I change colour like a ghost.

I didn't see he signs were there but certainly it's very clear to me____

Councils want your money, It's not funny, Want your money now!

Please sign my petition, 'gainst perdition, It's a right cash cow.

Cameras are hidden___always spying on your very number plate___

Councils want your money, every route they can.

Is it not possible to update the petition as there's barely any information on that
Sorry, the QR code was reinstated yesterday. Another video to follow very shortly. Please PM me if you require further information. There is a limited number of words and the petitions team edit.

First video: 12.00hrs @ Parliament Square Wednesday 26th. Then moving on to Courts of Justice. This is all the more relevant now that all London Councils have been given the green light to increase their penalty charges to £160 from £130.

Explanation:

Councils Acquire Money Every Route Available
If you receive a bus lane ticket in London, you have the right to require the attendance of the officer responsible for the details of the camera to attend the hearing at the Tribunal. If they do not attend or provide the correct documents and by a certain time, you win. BUT, if you receive a ticket for any other moving traffic contravention such as a yellow box junction, you do not have the same right. This is unjust! So, please sign my petition below to incorporate this right into moving traffic law. It is a human right to examine one’s accusers who, by and large, are anonymous. I seek justice as do many motorists.

Create the right to examine council witnesses in moving traffic contraventions.[attachimg=2]

@cp8759 I understand that I do not need permission to film with Houses of Parliament in the background?
As far as I'm aware you can film as much as you like, what you cannot do is protest in the vicinity of Parliament without seeking prior permission.
Thanks. I had better check with the Met as I will be handing out flyers and doing a short video.

If anyone can advise me on how to create a really effective video to reach the remaining 9,940 I would be most grateful.  ;) 5 million tickets are issued in London every year and only 1% fight them. If this bus lane legislation were incorporated into moving traffic legislation, the issue of natural justice would be fairly addressed.

Will this require a change to primary legislation? If so, I can’t see the government making time for it in the legislative calendar.
It can be done via SI.

You should explain what this is about maybe with an example or two. I can't see anyone will understand what it's about as is.
Indeed. I will do a video and increase coverage via X. The Petitions Team diluted my original requirements. The essence is to require council witnesses to attend, failing which their evidence is inadmissible as per Schedule I para. 7(6).

https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukla/1996/9/schedule/1/enacted

(6)Nothing in sub-paragraph (1) or (4) above makes a document admissible as evidence in proceedings under paragraph 6 above unless a copy of it has not less than 7 days before the hearing, been served on the appellant; and nothing in those paragraphs makes a document admissible as evidence of anything other than the matters shown on a record produced by a prescribed device if that person, not less than three days before the hearing or within such further time as the traffic adjudicator may in special circumstances allow, serves a notice on the council requiring attendance at the hearing or trial of the person who signed the document.
