My God, what a dump that place is !

The double-yellow lines are faded, but sufficiently clear that an adjudicator will consider them as OK for conveying the " No Parking 24x7" restriction. The DYLs apply right up to the wall of the building, so all the vehicles in the photos are liable to get ticketed. Of course there may be some 'Old Spanish Customs' locally so that regular traders don't get ticketed, but the PCN would seem to have been correctly served

This is a council PCN so I have moved this post to the Civil penalty charge notices (Councils, TFL and so on) (https://www.ftla.uk/civil-penalty-charge-notices-(councils-tfl-and-so-on)/) forum.

To help the users there provide you with the best advice, please read the following thread carefully and provide as much of the information it requests as you are able to: READ THIS FIRST - **BEFORE POSTING YOUR CASE!**, This section is for council, TFL, Dart/Mersey/Tyne etc. cases (https://www.ftla.uk/civil-penalty-charge-notices-(councils-tfl-and-so-on)/read-this-first-before-posting-your-case!-this-section-is-for-council-tfl-dartme/)
Title: Parking ticket
Post by: jonhanks on December 06, 2024, 10:38:07 am
Hello and good morning,

I would like some advice with regard to an ongoing parking fine please.

The driver parked on Backfields Lane, Bristol on a flat area adjacent to the cobbled road with appearance of old, badly worn double yellow lines on it, outside unit 19 - see photo with parked BMW (not the car in question). Also, other photo which shows confusion about parking here as so many cars regularly use this area.

Ticket left on windscreen. Notice to keeper received. Appeal made, and declined - see attached redacted copy for your assessment.

I would greatly appreciate any help or advice you can offer.

Many thanks,

J
