Not sure the reason but these boxes in Wanstead high street have been painted over or burnt off !

I would wait to see if you get a PCN and then see what the video shows. These new ones in Wanstead High Street are a absolute nightmare in both directions. You can not rely on what is happening ahead, there may be someone about to cross and the car in front may or may not stop. The principal of these boxes is to only enter if the exit after the box is clear, this means that effectively you give way to all people coming out of the side roads as if you start to cross and they pull out you are caught in the box.
Had one incident this morning myself, stopped waiting for the road beyond the box to clear , guy coming out the side road had plenty of tine to come out and go the other way but didn't, instead he decided to pull forward at same time the road cleared and I had started to move forward. I hit the breaks to avoid a collision, so was stopped in the box and the guy just continued on his merry way give me an obscene gesture to go with my PCN if it comes.

Situation:
Moving along at say 20 mph when a pedestrian suddenly stepped out onto a pedrestrian crossing with no warning, car in front performed an emergency stop, I stopped (rather suddenly) behind. However this left me sitting on top of a yellow box junction (with camera). Is there any way out of this?
This only happened today so now awaiting a PCN in the post. Can't show exact location as doesn't appear on Google Streetview so assume must be reasonably new.
