Is that the entirety of the video evidence supplied by the council?
The critical thing is that it doesn't seem to show your moment of entry into the box. If they don't include that in the evidence it's almost a sure fire winner for you, as the moment of entry is the point at which the offence is committed (depending on traffic conditions and situation at that time). If that isn't captured, there's no evidence of any offence being committed.

Hi there,
I got caught out by a yellow box. Not my legal defence, but was stuck behind a skip truck which made the box difficult to judge.
I've been reading up on possible ways around this one and I can see there's a "yellow box extended beyond junction" excuse. Now I would argue, and the video shows, that I was not causing any issue to traffic in the junction, despite being within the box - I was wondering if anyone felt that this might be worth trying in this case?
