Title: Re: PCN - Lambeth Council - 47(J): Stopped on a restricted bus stop or stand

PCN timed at 9:16 but video seems to start at 9:17.

You stopped right by the no stopping sign.

Little to go on unless there is a fault with the PCN.

So why did you stop at the bus stop ? Were you unaware that most bus stops in London only allow buses to stop ?

Honestly, I don't remember the reason. I probably had too many things on my mind and didn't realise it was a bus lane. Not a good excuse, though. I've paid quite a few PCNs this year, so it would be nice to get one off for a change.
Difficult to see a get-out for the contravention itself, but there may be a collateral challenge based on council mismanagement of the enforcement process, so wait a bit to see if anything is suggested, but don't miss the payment/representations deadline on the PCN or you lose the appeal option.

Nice photos but we need to see the PCN, please. Only redact name and address.

I have to say it doesn't look good at first glance, but let's see the PCN.  Cases have been won many times on the council, (or TfL), not following the legal enforcement process correctly. This can make the PCN void.

If you'd stopped on double-yellow lines nearby to let people get out, you could have claimed the board/alight passengers exemption.

Updated, hope it’s worth a shot

Hello, I appreciate any response I get.

I made the mistake of stopping in a bus lane on Waterloo Road, and I’m wondering if it’s worth fighting. Any help is appreciated, and thanks for your time.

(Please let me know if there are any errors.)
