Title: Re: PCN London - Camden - Willam Road NW1 Failing To Comply With a Prohibition On Certain Types of Vehicle

Thanks for the response. I imagine you are correct and my only hope would be a technicality in the legal document.

I had a look at the sticky post with the spreadsheet, but I have to admit, I found it very confusing, so can't confidently respond to Camden council with a representation.

I will wait another day to see if anyone chimes in, and if not just go ahead and pay.

It is 28 metres from the advance sign to the restricted street, so I don't think an adjudicator will consider this as too far away, frankly. So it looks as if the contravention is made out, but there could be a "technical" appeal based on their documents, website pages, and management of the enforcement process that could succeed at London Tribunals.  The council have to obey the law same as you, and if they don't the PCN is void.

So wait a bit to see what others may come up with, but don't miss any deadlines for payment or representations on the PCN.

I am hoping I might be able to receive some assistance to appeal this PCN.

I drove my car down William Road NW1 at 15.32 which as it turns out is a time day where motor vehicles are restricted. However I would like to argue the signage is inadequate as there is no opportunity to see the sign until you're turning into the road, as can be seen in my screenshot from Google maps below.

However there is a sign preceding the junction, but really quite far away, so early that I was not looking for junction related info by the time I was actually turning into the road. I am assuming this will play against me sadly.

Apologies for the bad PCN scan, it was damaged in the post seemingly.
