Thanks for the replies. Are you able to see the photos on the imgur link, there should be 8, including the sign (very small lettering) and a photo showing the back of the bike (it was stopped just behind the large pothole visible in Streetview). I can’t upload and photos directly.

In addition to the sound points above, some photos showing exactly where the bike is and the condition of the yellow lines will be useful - they look woefully faded from the looks of Google Streetview (in fact, had I not been looking out for them because I knew the charge was issued for allegedly parking on them, there's a fair chance I wouldn't have noticed at all), but evidence of your own would be helpful.

Hilarious. You are in the evidential photos. Ask why didn't the bounty hunter taking the photos warn you that you were breaching the terms of parking?
Also, as you point out, what yellow lines? What do the term on the signs in minuscule writing actually say? A close up of the sign would be useful.
No appeal is going to work and this is most likely to be concluded in the ultimate dispute resolution service, the county court. However, there is a greater than 99% chance that it will never get to a hearing and will be discontinued. You will just have to weather the useless debt collector letters (which you can safely ignore) in the meantime.

Morning All
I have received a PCN from CPM, for a vehicle "parking on yellow lines" at SW46TF on the 08/10/24. The vehicle is a motorbike and the rider was stopped for approximately 5 minutes, stood next to the motorbike. There were no yellow lines at the location, or the yellow lines were so worn as to be not recognisable, so it was not obvious that a vehicle could not stop at the given location. The area is not distinguishable from a public road in any way to the layman. The PCN was issued by camera.
I have read other threads, but nothing that I can see in relation to yellow lines and CPM issued PCNs.
I am after some advice on how to challenge, on the assumption that this is worth doing, although I expect it would be rejected, given other threads. It then seems that it would then be a matter of waiting out debt collectors until it goes away.
