This is the thing: when an appeal is filed they usually mess up by demanding payment and threatening to increase it to £195 - when the appeal is pending. mrmustard won an appeal on this basis.

And I raised it on Monday re another case.

Thank you so much. I am really grateful.

So about 24 seconds early - adjudicators have allowed appeals within a minute based on a car clock showing the 'right' time but there's no grace period.
Well worth a go.
There may be other issues to do with Lewisham's PCNs that others may know but clearly you won't be challenging on signage as you know the road but the signs are set a little way back in a one-way street.

Post the PCN obscuring only your name and address and we'll check.
And amend the title as per:

Hi all,
Asking for advice to see if it is worth appealing a fine for entering a school street in Lewisham borough.
For background, the school street zone is enforced between 08:30 and 09:45. The camera states I entered the road at 09:44. I know the road well and checked the time on my car dashboard which said 09:45.
There’s not much I can do to prove otherwise but (from anyone’s experience) is it worth appealing given the difference will be a matter of seconds and in the hope of some reasonableness?
Many thanks.
