Looks like this part of Stratton Drive: -

You can see the school buildings and the "Flying Motorbike" signs. At the other end, GSV is too old to show them.
There is no advance warning for those approaching to turn left into the restricted street, and sign clutter makes them difficult to see. Other approach directions are harder to argue against.
However, need to see video and PCN before final advice can be given. The video is the sole evidence.

Dear all,
A relative recieved a PCN by post for a 53J - they drove into a pedestrian zone during the hours of operation near a school. The reason behind this was there was a drunk person walking in the middle of the road, to avoid driving near the person the car was manoeuvred in such a way that the oncoming lane had to be used and in doing so, the driver missed the signs.
The alleged contravention took place on Stratton Drive. I was only made aware about it today so there is only tomorrow and Tuesday before the 14 days is up.
I don't have the PCN to hand as yet - awaiting photos via WhatsApp but is anyone aware of an issues with TMOs or the PCN templates from previous experience. I am told that the PCN doesn't actually state where in Stratton Drive but I guess as there is only one pedestrian zone, the issuing authority probably doesn't have to be specific?
If this is a 'bang to rights' please advise and I will recommend to the driver that they pay the PCN charge at 50% discount. Driver is in their mid 60s, not Tech savvy so has asked me to seek advice on their behalf.
Many thanks.
