Hi,

Don’t think I’m going to win this but asking anyways as I’m so annoyed!

I live in Stratford and have a permit for S zone. Around my house people just take down the parking signs so that they can park without a permit. A man runs a car repair business from next door so just takes all the signs down so that cars can be parked there. This means it’s difficult to park in a bay.

Got home last night with kids asleep and no spaces anywhere near so parked on yellow line near my house. Checked online and no event day.

Got up this morning to a fine because it is an event day. Although not on website, apparently it is on the signs. So they can just say I should have gone and looked on the signs I guess.

None of the bays next to the yellow line have an ‘s’ zone as all taken foot.

So annoyed because I actually have a permit but can’t park in bays because of all those without a permit.

Don’t think I legally have a leg to stand on but just so frustrated. Event days are supposed to help residents be able to park.
