Well, sorry to have to say it, but the photos show you well in contravention. Your car intrudes into the dropped section by nearly 3 feet in my estimation, certainly at least 2 feet. No chance of any argument on a de minimis basis succeeding. However see what the others say. At this driveway, there is no sloping section.

It was only the part behind the rear tyre which was parked in this way.
If any part of the vehicle is adjacent to the dropped section it is a contravention; position of wheels is irrelevant. Being adjacent to the sloping section is not a contravention.
We need to see the council photos. Please either download them here, or give us the PCN Number and car reg and we'll get them.
The PCN no is HN16725663
Need the reg number as well
Hi, Apologies for missing out. The reg number is KX17 OBJ

Hello everyone, I received a PCN code 27 - parked in a special enforcement area to a footway, cycle track or verge lowered to meet the level of the carriageway. It was only the part behind the rear tyre which was parked in this way. Although, there was another car parked fully in front of the lowered verge and didn’t have a ticker on it. Unfortunately I couldn’t manage to take pictures due to being in hurry.
Please refer to the google street view. I parked my car exactly at the same spot where the black car is parked but the part behind the rear wheel of my car was parked in the special area. Can anyone advise me on how to get the PCN cancelled if possible? I would appreciate it. Th
