1/ Ignore (but file) anything from ZZPS the toothless debt collector
2/ Send ECP a 'Subject Access Request' including two forms of ID to which they must respond with a copy of everything they have in your name (including the original PCN).
3/ Modify that post to not give away who was driving, refer to what 'the driver' did - no I, we, he or even the dog, you as the keeper neglected to update details, ZZPS have contacted you as keeper, the driver may have liability, the keeper less likely to.
4/ ECP may not consider an appeal, but that doesn't mean a reasonable person shouldn't send one stating why nothing is owed (legal reasons), it is what a court expects (should it ever get to court).

I parked at Wellington Street in Stockport with Euro Car Parks, after 7pm knowing I was going to an event for a couple of hours. The online only booking system was very confusing and I paid the only option available I can't remember the exact details but sometime to do with it behind after 6 or 7 pm. As I said I fully intended to stay for a couple of hours.
Unfortunately, I stupidly forgot to change my vehicle when changing address for my licence as I didn't have my v5c details to hand.
Consequently, I received an email a couple of months ago from zzps demanding £170.
I notified them of my intention to contest the charge. I eventually managed to email ECP but they just said they've passed it in to zzps and won't discuss with my. I fully believe that there was some error in the way the app only showed limited options and that I did not knowingly underpay for the length of the stay.
