What kind of reps do I need to provide. It was more a personal delivery to an elderly (unless a signed latter by the old woman would help)?
Well it sounds like a compelling case could have been put together but as you've paid the PCN, that's the end of the matter.

You need to explain why you were parked on the yellow lines, (delivering a breakfast to an elderly person). No spaces in any of the parking bays when you arrived, etc

There were no spaces at all. There was a car in the bay when I parked but to my bad luck he must've left when I walked out.

The double-yellow lines are plain enough to see, so no mileage there. You were parked right next to a parking bay. Were there no spaces at all, (I see there was a motorbike behind you).
Double-yellow lines have a loading/unloading exemption so you should submit reps on the basis of delivering, and make the point that there wer no vacant spaces in the parking bay.

Hi,
I was parking on double yellows at 8am to deliver some breakfast to an elderly relative of mine.
Intially when parking I wasn't sure if they were still active as the double yellow lines were half covered in mud/dust (not so visible), hence why I took the 30sec risk.
Could someone tell me if the wording on the ticket is correct, maybe I can fight it under those grounds?
