YOu've paid, so AFAIK that's it.  However, if it were me I'd have submitted reps on the basis that you were unable to proceed due to circumstances beyond your control. This is a get-out to any "No Stopping", or "No Parking" restriction.
Title: PCN TFL Red Route

It's probably a lost cause but I just wanted some advice regarding this.

I was on my bike and stopped along a red route as I dropped my phone on the road. I picked it up and left right away, which I know doesn't matter as the contravention had happened regardless. I appealed twice and also requested video the second time round, but it turned up more than 2 weeks later and 1 day after the fine was going up to £160. I panicked and ended up paying £80 before it did.

Genuine question, was I supposed to just leave it on the road and drive up to somewhere I can actually stop, then walk back to retrieve it? That's what someone told me on Reddit, which probably isn't the best place for advice and seems crazy to me. In that moment I hit the brakes instinctively to go pick it up, I'm not thinking to myself oh **** better not stop here to do that. I could have secured my phone better I guess but it was something that happened out of my control.
