So far, it has always been a staring competition. The PF has always blinked when the accused turns up to court on the day of the trial and maintained his not guilty plea.

To go the unsigned route in Scotland you complete the form correctly but do not sign it. It will or should be returned to you with a request to sign it, you either ignore that or reply that you have done everything that the law requires. You may then get a visit from the police requesting a signature, you can either keep a lookout and avoid answering the door to them or answer and decline to sign on the basis that you have done everything required by law. If you live in Scotland you may get more than one visit. Some fiscals have been known to take the matter to court but as far as we know they have always bcaked down and withdrawn the case at the last moment, presumably fearing that the court will not follow the English precedent that the information is not provided if the form is not signed. Someday that may change, particularly if a lot of people start doing the same thing.

Hi all,
I can't find the NIP wizard for love nor money.
I have a s172 for going 86 in a 70 on the A74(M) in Scotland. It's served in time and by first class (the RK named me and it was sent to me after).
Location is detailed enough.
Offence date is 06/03/24.
S172 date is 27/03/24.
I've skim read the info about the unsigned route but that was years ago and I need a refresh as to how it works, and if it does still work - I can't get Pepipoo to load.
