They do like using big legal words without having any idea of what they mean: plainly the notice does prejudice their position because once they cancel the PCN cannot ever be reinstated, so their position is irrevocably prejudiced.
-
Good news. They have magnanimously cancelled the PCN.
See attachment.
Only problem is he's gone and got himself another ticket. This time in Stratford, Newham.🤪

That's a reasonable informal representation, keep a screenshot of the confirmation page.
Appeal submitted. Confirmation screenshot taken.

I am a business owner and I deliver and collect goods across London.
On this occasion I parked in Ashcombe Street and used RingGo to book a parking session.
On my return I was surprised to find a PCN on the windscreen of my van as I believed I had booked the parking session.
When I checked the RingGo session I found I had selected my car and not my van registration.
I paid the £4.70 parking fee in good faith at 14:19. It expired at 15:19. The PCN was issued at 15:06.
I include screenshots from RingGo of the two vehicles I have registered and the session history that shows I paid £4.70 to cover the relevant time. If necessary, I can provide a copy of the V5 document for LL19HWH to prove ownership.
Can I ask that Hammersmith and Fulham exercise their discretion to cancel the PCN. This was clearly a genuine mistake on my part. H&F received the relevant parking fee and suffered no financial loss.

Is the driver also the registered keeper?

I will get hold of the traffic order, but in the meantime it's worth putting in a plea for discretion explaining what happened and asking for the PCN to be cancelled. Post a draft on here in the first instance.

Is this just a case of waiting for the NTO before taking any further action?
No informal appeal for this?
-
This must be a common occurrence?
Unfortunately it is, there is another case currently in progress here.
So listen very carefully to what is said here. The chaps on here know all the angles that even the council haven't thought about

Another one on behalf of the wife's, cousin's husband!
He parked up and used Ringo to start a virtual parking permit.
Unfortunately he selected his personal car VRM instead of the van he was in.
Cost him £4.70 to park and that permit ran from 14:19 to 15:19

The reason the scan is so bad is because it rained heavily. The CEO hadn't sealed the envelope. All the strips are intact.
It says remove strip and seal - clearly not done.
I can understand the strip to attach to screen isn't used if the screen is wet so it was under the windscreen but it let the rain in ::)
