This is an off-street car park so there needs to be a tariff board listing the terms and conditions of parking, which there isn't according to the CEO's photos. That being the case this should have been an easy win, but unfortunately @davehurd has paid therefore throwing his money away for nothing (no you cannot claim it back).

Dave, for future reference you should always make an informal representation as the council will always reoffer the discount as long as a challenge is made during the initial 14 days, and doing so buys you several weeks more time to get proper advice.

Ask the council for the PCN.

I parked my work van in this disabled space by accident as it wasn't very clearly marked. Does a disabled parking space need to have any markings on the road? I reversed into the spot & didn't see the small sign on the post but if there had been a wheelchair marking on the road I would have seen it and wouldn't have parked there. Ticket issued by Council & NSL

Unfortunately I don't have the original PCN.

The correct bay marking on the road would be the word Disabled, not a wheelchair picture. The sign appears to be obscured by the tree.

We need to see the PCN. Please post up scans or photos of both sides. Since this is an on street there is no need to redact anything. All as per the Read This First sticky post (https://www.ftla.uk/civil-penalty-charge-notices-(councils-tfl-and-so-on)/read-this-first-before-posting-your-case!-this-section-is-for-council-tfl-dartme/) at the top of the forum
