Thanks - I'll just get it paid, and lesson learned I guess (the lesson is don't visit London, lol).

I have to come to the same conclusion. Long YBJs like this are notoriously difficult. You entered the box withoug any hesitation whilst the grey van was still exiting the box. It is always best with boxes like this to tootle across very slowly until space to exit appears.

There is an arguable case that your car was beyond the junction, but it's not a sure thing so it would be a gamble to take this to adjudication.

Hi, I got a PCN for stopping in the box junction UPPER SUNBURY RD JNCT WTH LOWER SUNBURY RD [CAMERA UPP13CUV]. The video can be seen at:
https://youtu.be/IDXZWhonIbQ
As you can see in the video, I entered the box expecting van infront to keep driving forward, but they stopped presumably to let a pedestrian cross the road (or to make me stop in the box, take your pick) which can be seen in the video, leaving a big gap in front of them and forcing me to stop in the box.
I submitted a representation already, which was rejected, and have included the pcn and rejection in the following location: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1r_bEvVw4pqVk97hqTrrzcmRJuEbqasAJ?usp=drive_link
--------------------------------------------
The wording of my original representation was: As can be seen on the video and photos, when entering there was ample room to clear the box junction. The traffic was moving as expected beyond the traffic lights, and there was enough space on the other side of the junction for my vehicle to clear the box completely without stopping if the vehicles continued as expected.
However, the van in front of me unexpectedly and abruptly stopped with a couple of car lengths between him and the vehicle infront. This might have been to let a pedestrian (jogger) cross the road, as viewable in the video and in the attached photo. I could not have reasonably been expected to foresee or anticipate this happening, and without this unexpected event I would have been able to exit the box.
To conclude, when I entered, there was enough space on the other side of the junction for my car to clear the box completely without stopping with the normal flow of traffic. I therefore believe this PCN should be cancelled.

I already put this on pepipoo, and the responses were that it wasn't worth appealing but thought I would check here before paying - the charge has been reset to £65.
Thanks
