You'll have to help us to help you. At the moment, we've almost no information to go off. As a starting point:
- What parking company is this?
- Exactly how many charges, and exactly how much are they claiming is owed?
- What is the situation regarding the land? Is it a rented a parking space, is this is workplace car park, where the driver lives, or what?
- Since becoming aware of the £3k worth of charges, have you spoke to the person/organisation who claimed you were entitled to park there? If so, what has their response been? What is their relationship to the land?
As a semi-related aside - if the notices went to your old address, this suggests that your car's V5C had not been updated at the material time - have you updated it since? If not, do this asap.

I am seeking assistance and guidance regarding parking charges that have been issued incorrectly. Despite being informed that my vehicle was added to the permit list, as evidenced by a screenshot of an email confirmation, I have received over 15 parking charges totalling over £3,000. These charges were sent to my old address, unbeknownst to me until they reached the debt collector.
This situation has become incredibly stressful, and I am unsure of what steps to take next. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated
