Annoyingly my time to appeal POPLA has expired. I'm guessing now it's just a case of riding out the debt collector's letters until I get an LoC presumably?

I would appeal to POPLA purely on the basis that the NtK does not meet the requirements of POFA Schedule 4 Paragraphs 9(2)(b) and 9(2)(e).

Make sure that you appeal purely as keeper.

Very unlikely that they will cancel on the grounds you have provided. I have seen them be more lenient on the vary rare occasion where traffic has been so busy as to cause traffic to be unable to exit. Given what you have indicated you can only go on what you have been advised. You will have debt collection papers and possibly LBC there are a number of POPLA appeals on this site to tailor to your needs.

It was the driver's first time there and they were ill and only stayed 15 minutes over

What were your original grounds of appeal?

The invitation to pay or name the driver is missing, but unlikely to cut any ice with POPLA.

I didn't include the driver's name. I appealed through their website so I don't have the actual letter. But it was in the grounds that the driver had only gone over by 15 mins

Hi all,

On 7/7/26 we received a PCN from Euro Car Parks for overstaying the maximum time allowed at the St Hilary Retail Park in Basildon on 2/7/26. Arr 11:15. Dep 13:30.

I appealed on the 13/7/26. Which was rejected on the 4/8/26 by way of sending a POPLA Verification Code.
