Title: Re: Tooting, PCN due to stopping on a red route
Post by: Swahmad on September 14, 2026, 11:05:37 pm
So just got the disc. Was a struggle to find something to play it on

It's footage of about 1.5 minutes and shows me reversing into the spot. The whole footage does not show anyone getting out of the vehicle. There is a few seconds where the door on right back passenger is opened slightly but shuts again.

As I said we weren't there for more than a few minutes, if that. I hope this footage proves that. I'll try to upload

If it makes any difference I did have my baby son in the car and needed to feed him so needed to stop but carried on when I realised I couldn't park there

It's to see and test their evidence in the form of CCTV and your recollection as to the events.

Fair enough, I'm assuming it's to find out exactly how long I'd stayed?

I suggest you contact TfL and request the DVD which halts the enforcement for a while.

And then you and we can put your recollection to the test!

Hi all, thanks for any help in advance.

I was driving my sister in laws car and stopped in tooting. I read the sign and realised I could not park there so left.

She's been sent this PCN. Could I argue that I was only stopped but after reading the sign I left and so should not have to pay?
