Apologies for the late response here is the letter.

Post the first page of the PCN, redacting only name and address.
These are usually hopeless to challenge as not obeying a keep left is an absolute contravention.
This location rings a bell though.

Hi all, this is my first time in this forum and I only came across it an hour ago. I have received a PCN from the Harrow Council regarding contravention 38L - ' Failing to comply with a sign indicating that vehicular traffic must pass to the specified side of the sign - must pass to the left. '
This took place at the Charlton Road and D'arcy Drive junction in Harrow. There is a width restriction here for cars on either side of the road. I had driven through the central reservation as opposed to the indicated width restriction since it looked too tight. Upon some quick research the restriction seems to be 6ft 6 inches wide (1.95m).
The car driven was a 2008 Nissan Elgrand. It has a width of about 1.85m. I understand that this sounds reasonable however this is only a 5cm clearance either side of the wheels. Furthermore it is a minivan so is quite a bit longer than a car. At the time it was clear to go through the central reservation.
I am wondering what the best approach is. Since I had not opened the letter for a while I only have about 5 days left to pay the fine. Is there anything I can do? If I submit an appeal and get no response how should I proceed?
Any advice or links to other posts in a similar situation would be much appreciated, thanks all! :)
