Hi there. Yeah it does read quite similar. Also I've had zero contact with any of these companies. Thanks for your advice and fhe above reply.

Read it carefully and it probably says words along the lines of if you don't pay we'll recommend to our client to commence legal action, and also 'this is not subject to high court or bailiff action'.  Got a few here that are the same 😁 - they're just shaking the tree in the hope some money falls out.

Having said that we have seen a couple of cases recently go further, one ending up with a claim, but as long as you don't ID the driver they have no where to go.

Please read https://www.ftla.uk/private-parking-tickets/read-this-first-private-parking-charges-forum-guide/ and post what you have received, suitably redacted, but very importantly understand that keeper liability does not apply in Scotland, so the registered keeper can not be liable for the actions of the driver as long as the driver is not identified.

You can ignore if you want, but you are advised also to search this forum for “Scotland” to se what has happened in similar cases.

DCBL are debt collectors, regardless of what their name might imply.

Hi everyone just joined and received a final reminder for a parking charge from May 2025. I live in Scotland as well. Should I ignore this? I've not made any contact with any of these companies. The original company was horizon parking. Any advice appreciated
