Do you feel it would be worth pursuing? I understand I may have to pay the full charge, but if there is a fair chance it may work, I may just give it a go

I have appealed using MrMustard's old advice on another (similar) thread but do not expect a favourable response: https://www.ftla.uk/civil-penalty-charge-notices-(councils-tfl-and-so-on)/penalty-charge-notice-50j-prohibited-right-turn-bexley-council-upper-wickham-lan/msg95592/#msg95592 (https://www.ftla.uk/civil-penalty-charge-notices-(councils-tfl-and-so-on)/penalty-charge-notice-50j-prohibited-right-turn-bexley-council-upper-wickham-lan/msg95592/#msg95592)

Well, let's hope you have more "balls" than the other OP.

Driver thought signage may not apply for the right turn (rather than full u-turn).

If the aforementioned known issue has been corrected, then driver would not appeal on that basis.
I suspect the No U-Turn sign is specially for people doing a turn there rather than tootling along to the mini-roundabout to turn into that street.

The "known flaw" would seem to have been corrected on your PCN. The case you cite was 2 years ago. As far as I can see the two 28 day periods are now correct, although this is just a quick trawl through it. Be ware that if you go down this route, you'll have to take them to Lonon Tribunals and risk the full PCN penalty.

Why on earth did you driver make a U-turn right by the sign, when there is another sign indicating a mini-roundabout a little bit further on where the driver could have turned round ?

Location: Fraser Road, Erith
Date of alleged contravention: 09/07/2026 (11:43)
Date of letter: 20/07/2026
Reduced penalty charge ends 03/08/2026

Link to PCN: https://drive.proton.me/urls/H7W3T6CHG0#7SuH2HQlBMun (https://drive.proton.me/urls/H7W3T6CHG0#7SuH2HQlBMun)

Google street view: https://maps.app.goo.gl/W2FFWizr9179SWhR7 (https://maps.app.goo.gl/W2FFWizr9179SWhR7)

Driver made a prohibited U-turn, however the purpose of the manoeuvre was to turn right into the side road.

Having read this, it may apply here?: Bexley - Known flaw 4 (https://www.ftla.uk/civil-penalty-charge-notices-(councils-tfl-and-so-on)/bexley-pcn-31j-welling-high-stdanson-la/)

Is there anything to advise for appeal here including the known flaw? Thank you
