Thanks, that's very kind of you!
I'll send it when I get home from work tonight. Hopefully no bloody parking ticket tonight!

Stupid pcn, it isn't a contravention, every time I park more than 50% of my car is more than 50cm from the edge of the carriageway as my car is more than 1m wide. The contravention exists to deal with double parking. Email me at mrmustard@zoho.com and I will challenge the pcn and file a complaint with the parking manager

When I say tight, I mean its a tight manoeuvre getting around the car thats behind me in a way that will keep the back of the car close to those godawful railings without going further forward and thus leaving less space for someone else to park in front of me.
I guess I better warn my other neighbours now because this kind of how we all park in that space.

Thanks for the replies.
This is what it says online.
26 - Parked in a special enforcement area more than 50 cm from the edge of the carriageway and not within a designated parking place
Apart from the ticket itself, I'm really more shocked that someone has come here just to give me a ticket. I mean, I'm a polite and friendly kind of fella, but I sure must have upset the universe somehow this week!
This from Barnet Council
Where parking restrictions are in place:
- parking more than 50 cm from the edge of the carriageway if not in a designated parking space

Can we see a picture of the tight roundabout?
-
Actually, the whole car must be more than 50cm away.

I can't believe this, I haven't had a parking ticket for a good 15 years or more. Now I get 2 in as many weeks!
This is the first ever known parking ticket ever issued in this little cul-de-sac. My neighbour called me to let me know a guy came round on a scooter & put a ticket on my car.
I'll post images & PCN in a sec. Yes the back of the car is about a meter away from the kerb, but it's on a tight roundabout and there's a car behind me. The front of the car is well within 50cm, I took a tape measure to it.
Nothing in the CEO's photos showing how he measured the distance to the kerb.
Ironically I park like that out of consideration to my neighbours because there's plenty of space at the top of the roundabout, because those houses have driveways. Then I tuck the front in tight so people can get round.
This is really strange, could someone have reported my car?
The accusation is that part of the car was more than 50cm, which you admit. The fact that other parts were within 50cm isn't really relevant.
