if you can, I would email again asking the manager to just confirm that they have requested cancellation from their end.

Hi,
<br>
<br>
My son and his mate, in their desire to get a drink, somehow missed the myriad of signs and notices in the pub carpark telling them to register their number plate. Part of me thinks they may have been distracted, because when they arrived it was just before opening time and the manager actually took them to the bar via the kitchen. So they probably wouldn’t have walked past the tablet to enter their car details. Not only that, at the very least you would have thought the manager would remind the lads to register their cars there and then. For anyone interested, it’s called the Punch Bowl Inn just outside Bridgnorth in Shropshire, somewhere I would advise not to go!

<br>
Anyway they both got a PCN from Smart Parking a few days later. I emailed the pub with a copy of the receipt for the drink they had attached and the fact they had been shown to the bar via the kitchen, in the hope it would jog their memory. Radio silence. I then phoned and left a voice mail asking them to acknowledge my email. Again radio silence. I eventually had to drive over and met a manager face to face who told me they forward all emails to Smart Parking telling them the vehicles they can cross off their list. He couldn’t tell me if my son and his mates were on that list!

<br>
I’m now in the situation where I still don’t know if the cars have been taken off the Smart Parking persecution list. So do I now appeal via the Smart Parking website? And if I do, what are the do’s and don’ts when filling in their online form?
<br>
<br>
Cheers
