Title: Re: 8 Gemini Parking Charges - Notices Sent to Wrong Address (Debt Recovery Plus)
Post by: jfollows on July 07, 2026, 08:00:24 pm
I only have the debt recovery letter as the person addressed to number 60 has sent the original pcn letters back to them
So send the SAR to obtain them.

Or just sit on your hands and ignore everything from DRP, hoping that Gemini are true to form and won't take you to court. With the prospect of £1,000 they can't be guaranteed not to, and if they do you will need to construct a defence, for which the original PCNs may be vital.

You should check your V5C, which I believe Motability holds for you, because if the address there is wrong this would explain what happened. In this, anyway, the lady from DRP was correct.

Debt Recovery Plus can be ignored, but a county court claim may follow; Gemini are owned by APCOA who tend not to “do” court so you may be lucky.

Please post at least one of the PCNs for us to see. https://www.ftla.uk/private-parking-tickets/read-this-first-private-parking-charges-forum-guide/ If you don’t have any of them, send a Subject Access Request to Gemini for all the personal information they hold on you.

I rang the number on the debt recovery plus and she wasn’t very helpful . She suggest that I rang the mobility people to make sure that my address wasn’t put down wrong with the vehicle . But she said I suggest I set up a direct debit to start to pay the amount and she suggests I do this urgently as 3 are pending court actions . This has obviously made me feel quite worried and stressed . If anyone could advise that would be great
Title: 8 Gemini Parking Charges - Notices Sent to Wrong Address (Debt Recovery Plus)

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some advice regarding 8 private parking charges issued by Gemini Parking Solutions at Gunnersbury Park.

I have only just become aware of them because I received a Debt Recovery Plus letter demanding £170 for one of the charges and warning of possible court action.

The problem is that all the correspondence has been sent to 60 instead of number 6. Because of this, I never received any of the original Parking Charge Notices or reminder letters.

I have since been told there are 8 parking charges in total, amounting to around £1,000.

I got my Motability/PIP car in November, which is when these notices started. If I had received the first notice, I would have dealt with it straight away.

The letter I’ve received is from Debt Recovery Plus, not a County Court claim.

My questions are:

1. What should I do first?
2. Should I contact Gemini ?
3. Does the fact the notices were sent to the wrong address help my case?
4. Can I get the cases reset so I can appeal or pay the original charges?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
