Hi guys, it's been an awful year for me so far and the well know UKCPM are doing a great job and making sure it stays that way.
I have lived at this address since 2021 and I my since Dec 25 have the issues started.
At this address, I have a Residents Permit issued. As part of this, I have a physical copy (in the window of my car) and a digital permit in which my work vehicle is assigned to.
For some strange reason, since Dec 25, UKCPM have issued 6 PCN's. All on my work vehicle covered by the digital permit. The first 2 my appeals were successful. I simply pointed out that the permit was not visible in the window as it was digital. The 3rd the decided to dismiss my appeal, however they conceded when I appealed via the IAS.
Then it gets interesting . Upon appealing the last 3, all were dismissed. 1 of them I admittedly forgot about so forgot to appeal via the IAS. The remaining 2 PCNs however, after appealing via the IAS, were again dismissed with their 'evidence' stating why.
The evidence:
. A re-upload of the PCN sent in the post
.Pictures of the signage
.Screenshot from an office computer showing a jumble of registrations including my own with their respective permit status
In their response, they say that the vehicle was not covered by a valid permit, which I argued and that it is up to me to make sure that it is. When I moved here it was a set and forget deal so there was never a need for me to "check" the status of said permit.
When looking at the evidence, I noticed next to my registration; it had the date it was approved (Sep 23), and next to that it's states the timeframe for the permit which it shows as "never expires".
Now the fun bit. Beside the end date that clearly shows "never expires", is says "Deleted"...
My points were first of all, why was it deleted without any notice or reason, with no correspondence between myself and them requesting it. Also, why is it just these random days and not every day I received a PCN if it had no valid permit, at some point someone must have added it back on otherwise if have atleast 60 more PCNs since the date it was 'Deleted'.
Annoyingly I had to put a counter argument and further appeal however I have no access to any of their systems and there never has been any correspondence between us. This meant that the adjudicator sided with operator immediately with no regard to any of my points mentioned.
I am completely loosing my mind over this as again its been a horrible year for me. I'm so close to just paying up but its now £300 I can't really afford and I feel I will just be giving in to the bully tactics.
Apologies for the long read, there may be bits missed still. I basically ask, is there anyway I can clear this or am I doomed to paying up for, in my opinion, some frankly unfair and quickly dismissed PCNs. :'(
