OK, so you have the basis for an 'assisted boarding' appeal, assuming 'board/alight passengers' is an exemption to the permits only bay.

Well my child is 7 years old. And the school is not waking distance from my home so I always take the car to go there. Just was running late so did not get usual parking spot

Your child is how old?
Any reason other than age why you would need to collect them?
Why did you not just sit in the car and wait for them to come to you(my practice with my 14-year old granddaughter)?

Hello, I went to pick up my child from School and parked in the residents bay taking a chance that i will be a few minutes. Pick up took just under 5 minutes. I came back to the car to find i had received a PCN.
Just checking if there is any rules on how long a enforcement officer has to wait before issuing a ticket ?

Grateful for any thoughts if there is anything i can do to challenge the PCN.

The signage states " Permit Holders Only Mon to Sat 8:30am to 6:30pm"
