Yes - Lex should follow the information on the NtK which tells them what to do if someone else is the hirer of the vehicle.

You need to get Lex to notify ECP that you are the hirer.

You cannot respond to the NtK because you are not named.

When ECP send the Notice to Hirer they will probably screw up the process by not sending all the required documents.

Thanks. Just to confirm, should we actively contact Lex to tell them to do this?

The thing is I was genuinely using the services at the petrol station. Petrol and air and also filled up the screenwash then cleaned out rubbish from the car. I hadn’t parked and left my car unattended at any time.

You really need to show us “the ticket” if you’re wanting to get any meaningful advice. There are, in particular, specific angles with hire cars which can be used if so.

It’s not a fine, it’s an invoice for payment under the contract the driver entered by reading the signs and parking.

Be sure not to identify the driver.

Right you are! I couldn’t work out how to upload a direct attachment so I’ve done it here

If it is hired what has been received and by who? How do you know that a charge has been issued?

Sorry I’ve just realised that I wrote I am ‘not the hirer’. I’ve corrected it now!

Thanks for the follow up.

It’s a lease car that is in the name of a family member. I usually drive the car. The ticket came in the post and by email.

Hi all,

I received a Euro car parks fine for staying in a petrol station ‘too long’ (35 minutes). I filled up petrol and air and screen wash and cleaned out the car (have receipts for petrol and air).

Today is from what I can tell the last of the 28 days for ‘payment to be made’. The car is a lease car and I am the hirer.

How should I proceed at this stage?

Thanks
