What did the hotel say when you contacted them following the advice given by @jfollows on June 15th?

When I rang I was told to email the details. I emailed the details and followed up, but heard nothing in return.

I emailed the hotel with a simple request to cancel and did not receive a response. Went away on holiday to return to a letter from ZZPS. I have the original parking charge and the first letter from ZZPS uploaded here ----> https://postimg.cc/gallery/QXkDsvh

Just to recap. Driver parked correctly to attend hotel for a pre agreed meeting. Displayed parking details/authorization in the car window. Did not register registration at hotel terminal. Registered keeper has so far received the correspondence linked above and has made no contact with either.

I would like some advice on how to proceed please as the registered keeper.

Tell the hotel to cancel this, if you were parked in the section of the car park controlled by the hotel.

Read and act on https://www.ftla.uk/private-parking-tickets/read-this-first-private-parking-charges-forum-guide/ to post the notice as advised for us to see.

Or do nothing, on the basis that APCOA - in our experience - doesn’t take people to court. There is no guarantee that they will continue not to do so, of course.

As registered keeper received a Parking Charge from APCOA PARKING for Use of private car park without a valid payment / permit at Windsor & Eton Riverside Station Car Park.

THe driver was visiting a local hotel that uses a private section of the car park for its use and had reserved a space for my vehicle correctly for the period parked through the hotel. As per the confirmation received the driver displayed the relevant paperwork in the the car windowscreen, but they did not register my vehicle at the terminal in the hotel reception.

Any advice on what to do please?
