The day nav in the car is not google it came with the car, honestly speaking there is so much going like my elder brother passed away on 17/5/26 he was on end of life, before that few other bereavement In the last few months and being a carer is also difficult and sometimes can’t think straight but don’t think that would help at all, and something are too personal to mention here
Very sorry indeed to hear about your circumstances, as I had a similar experience with one of my brothers in 2009, but unfortunately, officials in enforcement departments seem to be employed based on the hardness of their hearts, granite is the most chosen, I believe.

You could try a single representation and request the second be cancelled as it was so close to the first, and you were basically lost. You may get a result. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Wait for others to comment, but don't miss the deadline to respond to the PCNs. At the moment, I see no credible appeal case. We see far too many threads where drivers are using satnav and then get walloped because they miss various traffic signs.

No I did not see the blue signs I was looking for side roads for parking as I was running late for my appointment which I just about made it

Sorry to say it, but following satnav, or even using it in Central London, is most unwise, because satnavs are never up-to-date. The restriction for the first PCN you have posted in present on Google Street View in July 2024.

When did you last update your satnav ? Using satnav is not a reason for cancellation of a PCN because they don't absolve you of your duty to obey traffic signs.

The second PCN is for the Stephen St junction, but in the opposite direction, so at some point you must have turned round.

Did you know what these blue signs mean ?

At the moment I can see no basis for a robust appeal to London Tribunals, the only unbiased place to get a ruling. London councils get approaching £700 million a year from PCN penalties so are hardly unbiased when considering representations.

Hello all,
Received 2 tickets in the post on last Friday for driving through Tottenham Court Road W1,
It says the road is for buses only but I did not know and was following the sat navigation and was looking for parking but and couldn’t find any and running late for an appointment, have not driven in these parts on central London so not familiar.
I have attached the PCN below please advise if anything can be done to challenge these.
Thanks
