Title: Re: Parkingeye PCN at Asda Swanley
Post by: ixxy on June 01, 2026, 09:11:41 pm
The driver may wish to go to Specsavers, Google Street View clearly shows multiple signs back in 2018 so clearly not a new thing.

We need to see the PCN, both sides, but its likely to be POFA compliant, recent Parkingeye PCNs now include the wording inviting the keeper to pay.

Why did the driver overstay in ASDA, massive shopping trip or did they go elsewhere. If you want this closing down its either speak to ASDA or appeal to parkingeye but you will need a good reason to get them to cancel it.

CEO@asda.com has sometimes worked, for example https://www.ftla.uk/private-parking-tickets/parking-eye-ltd-overstay-asda-clapham-juntion-sw11/msg42791/#msg42791

Post up the PCN covering personal details.

Better to say that 'the driver' picked up a ticket thus not revealing who was driving at the material time.

Have you tried approaching the store?
Title: Parkingeye PCN at Asda Swanley
Post by: John001 on June 01, 2026, 01:46:34 pm
My wife received a ticket at Asda Swanley.
She was parked there for 3hours and 26 minutes according to the PCN which states that you are allowed 3 hours free.
She says that she didn't see any notices about parking, and that when she has been been there before there has never been a charge.
Maybe this is a new thing?
Any advice?
