I've given you my view - It's sharp practice, for which it is hard to see a commercial justification, and I would like to hope most County Court judges would take a dim view of court time being taken up with such a case.
Neither Ocean Parking not the IAS are likely to uphold an appeal, but if you were prepared to fight it all the way you would seem to have a defence to put forward.

bumping to see if any advice before payment is just made to make it go away

I'll provide a picture of the onsite signage today, but initial thoughts? Pay or fight it?

I'd like to see them explain to a judge the commercial justification for a £100 charge here...

Can you post up signs in the car park to look at what best advice to provide.

Hey all,
Looking for some advice
Some information;
Incident time 09:16 on 26/05. parked in the space and part of tyre was on the white line. The "space" next to car is void as it is next to a walkway. The walkway is raised and continues raised across the entire car park. The raised crossing can be seen with the angles red bricks and zebra crossing marks.
