Read this yesterday when I was browsing the LT statutory register. Actually, no, it was rather early this morning !!
An excellent result, but what puzzles me is why the councils never turn up when they must surely know it will lose them the case ? After all, they don't have to attend physically at the LT offices, as it's all on Zoom or the phone now.
There is more to it than that I can assure you as they were going to attend. More to follow..........

The date of service on the EN says 22/07/2026 and that's the day the EN arrived in the post

Should I just submit that no upright signage was passed? Similar appeal to one that I had personally gotten, of which I am still waiting for the EN after 4 or 5 months, if you remember?

Keep going as there is problem with their enforcement notices.

It's not me.
But yes, that is correct. I don't have any hopes of challenging this on a, "the alleged contravention did not occur" basis.
But hoping for something technical instead.
I just want to add to that my initial comment sounded slightly entitled, not the intention.
As there's never any reason to not submit an appeal, any suggestions as to what I could start out with?
