Totally bang-to-rights ! Dropped footways like this need no signs or lines.

Read the description of the contravention. The dropped kerb is the issue.

If you download and publish the photos (if any) which would normally be on the authorities website that should show whether you were overhanging the dropped bit and also show ehether it is dropped for one of the relevant reasons.

Received a PCN on the vehicle parked in Farlington road yesterday morning.

There are no yellow lines or any other signs on that part of the road.

There is indeed a footpath.

GSV link here: (https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@50.8156547,-1.0715693,3a,75y,209.24h,79.36t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sV7l7A1D-kZJUsExOrKP1Jw!2e0!7i16384!8i8192?entry=ttu)

I was under the impression that as long as there is no signage and/or yellow lines, I can park there?

Is this true or not?

Do I have a chance or just pay it and move on?
