Wew need to see the PCN, your challenge and their rejection.

Do you also have a notice to owner?

You should therefore read and act on https://www.ftla.uk/civil-penalty-charge-notices-(councils-tfl-and-so-on)/read-this-first-before-posting-your-case!-this-section-is-for-council-tfl-dartme/ and the moderators will move this thread to the correct subsection of the forum.

You will need to post the PCN with only your name and address obscured, as it advises.

https://www.ftla.uk/private-parking-tickets/read-this-first-private-parking-charges-forum-guide/ includes instructions on posting images, plus we need more information on things like where and when as it advises.

If this was on private land, blue badges may be irrelevant, they confer no right to park for free other than as noted on the signs.
Title: unfair blue badge PCN appeal?
Post by: annam8972@outlook.com on May 05, 2026, 07:48:05 pm
hi,

so i’ve recently been given a PCN despite having a blue badge that should’ve been clearly visible to whoever issued the fine - i’ve attached a circled photo. i usually keep the sign in a tray so it doesn’t slip down the window etc. which is what you can see in the photo.

however, none of the photos uploaded by them actually show the front of the car window where the badge would be clearly visible - but at the same time it therefore doesnt show the actual blue badge being there (despite it being in the tray).

i’ve appealed it once it’s been denied and honestly wondering if i have any grounds to further appeal it - despite imo them not actually having evidence of it NOT being there.

any advice would be greatly greatly appreciated, thank you
