Also, if it’s only two minutes, there is a minimum 5 minute “consideration period” in the code of practice which allows for someone to drive onto land, read the notices, and leave.

We’re guessing on what you’ve said, as a long-time poster once said, our crystal balls aren’t working. Please give us something substantial to work on.
Title: Parking Charge Notice from CUP Enforcement- Now Taken to Small Claims Court
Post by: Rocketman25 on April 24, 2026, 05:46:32 pm
Hi All,
I need urgent assistance as CUP Enforcement has taken me to small claims court for a parking charge notice - I never received anything from them but recently I see they have escalated matters to the small claims court. They are claiming I was parked and/or not on their “white list” of approved vehicles for going on their land between the hours of 3.03AM to 3.05AM - a total of 2 minutes in July 2025! I remember this incident as I took a wrong turn into their dead end road, and did a U turn and came out again. My engine was always running, I never stopped or parked there. I did a U turn and left.

I have filled in and sent of the acknowledge service of claim online, so I get extra time for my defence.

But I don’t know what to do now? Can anyone adice please?

Thank you
