Title: PCN parking Asda Leyton
Post by: Sid on April 19, 2026, 09:58:36 am
Hi everyone,

I hope this finds you well!

I received a PCN for parking outside the bay in Asda. The right-hand side was next to the trolley park - inevitably making it difficult to get out of the car from the right-hand side

Unfortunately, I am unable to upload the image.

The left wheel was in the next bay. Another car could still park - although we were at the end of the car park, I doubt a car would want to park that far away from Asda, they would choose a much closer bay.

Anyhoo - here are the details on the ticketDate: 09/04/2026

Dear

Notice to Keeper

Your vehicle was recorded on private property in breach of the following terms and conditions of parking:

Not parked correctly within the markings of the bay or space.

Leyton Mill Retail Park, Leyton Mill Retail Park, Marshall Road, Waltham Forrest, E10 5NH on the 04/04/2026 at 15:45:53.

Having checked the vehicle's details with the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA). we are writing to you because you were the registered keeper at the time of the above mentioned breach. The Terms and Conditionsof the car park were clearly and prominently displayed; and were agreed to by the driver when the vehicle was parked on private land. The driver is therefore required to pay the outstanding parking charge due to the breach.

UK Parking Control Ltd do not know the name and address of the driver. We therefore invite you, the registered keeper, to pay this Parking Charge or provide us with the name and current address of the driver so that we may write to them and request payment; you should also pass this Parking Charge to the driver. if the vehicle has been hired, please provide us with a signed statement confirming the hirer's name and address and include a copy of both the hire agreement and their statement of liability, as required under the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012.

Any advice?
