Why did you park there?

Single yellow lines in controlled parking zones are controlled by zone entry signs.
If you were to take it to the tribunal, Camden would need to satisfy the adjudicator the zone is clearly signed, probably with library pics and a zone map.
What was your route into the zone?
I was parked next to this sign in front of the Wesley hotel on that street.

Route was: Hampstead Rd, Drummond St, North gower St then euston Street
Only problem is their photos show you on the yellow line, not in the parking bay, so the bay sign is irrelevant to your case.

I understand that however the images taken doesn't show the sign/rule that I broke. It just shows pictures of my car. Can I argue that the sign/rule I broke is not present on the PCN?
Argue, yes.
Succeed, who knows.
IMO, the legal position is that every restriction must be signed such that it adequately conveys the applicable restriction. When upright traffic signs are used they must conform to the requirements set out in Schedule 4 here: https://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2016/362/schedule/4
Except that, when applicable conditions have been met, the council may dispense with individual signs and substitute Controlled Parking Zone signs placed at every vehicle entrance into a zone:

Form of signs: https://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2016/362/schedule/5
If it's a CPZ and the CPZ signs are of the correct form and in the proper places then individual signs are not required.

So it looks like the signs in the GSV views I posted are now superceded, albeit the Drummond Street view is August 2025

OK, so you now should submit an informal representation that the CPZ restricted days are Monday to Friday according to the entry signs, but the PCN was dated and served on Saturday, therefore the PCN was incorrectly served and should be cancelled forthwith.
Check the CPZ signs, though, as they may have changed since the GSV view of last year.

Clearly the signs are present on GSV, so if you think they're not there, you'll need to check. The yellow line by your car is clear enough in the photo. You haven't posted the actual PCN for us to check for errors, so please do so.

This PCN was received on the Saturday so the above controlled zones wouldn't apply. Also, I've attached the PCN details in the original post including VRN.

I received a PCN from Camden Council on 11/04/2026 at 13:16 for allegedly parking in a restricted street during prescribed hours (code 01) on Euston Street.
Vehicle details:
Make: Mazda
Colour: Silver
The Civil Enforcement Officer observed the vehicle from 13:13 to 13:16.
I am looking for advice on whether this PCN is valid and how best to challenge it.
At this stage, I am reviewing:
Whether the yellow line restrictions and signage were clearly visible and compliant
Whether the Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) signage was present and clear at entry points
Whether the location and markings accurately reflect the restriction claimed
