I would just send:
The contravention did not occur as my car was not adjacent to the fully lowered part of the footway. The sloping kerbstone does not count as part of the enforcement area.
I trust you will cancel the PCN and look forward to early confirmation.
-
Just to confirm that your AI friend of choice is correct.
To be in contravention the vehicle must be adjacent to the lowered kerb.
Parking alongside sloping kerb is not a contravention in itself.
This is a sure fire win. Keep challenging. Although your partner may have to persevere and go to tribunal as some councils are ignorant of the law, and will reject.
Thanks for responding - AI actually claims most definitely the council will reject the appeal, issue is, its not its money if this fails at tribunal, but it's good to see you are in agreement, as I like a human to verify what AI says

What are the PCN number and car VRM.

Hello
Thanks for responding, the images I had in the link are not from the council but they are very identical.
Let me try to send them across, if I can figure out how to add images, as clicking on attachments and other options doesn't provide me with the option to upload images
Can't figure out how I add them, so attached them to the other forum, sorry

The sloping stone doesn't count.
Are these the council's pics?
I'd say no contravention and not concede anything.

Hello
need some advice my partner parked what they thought as not blocking access to the persons driveway. But has been issued with a PCN, pics were taken which show the vehicle is not preventing access to the driveway, but I want to know, should we appeal it and if yes, on what grounds?
Please see pics and PCN - cant figure out how to uploaded images?
Thanks
Fed the info to AI and this is what it states, of course I would like to verify this with someone other than AI
The contravention did not occur.
The CEO’s photographs do not show my vehicle adjacent to any fully lowered section of the
kerb. All eight images provided by the council show only the vehicle and the surrounding
street, but none show the kerb height, the dropped section, or the position of the wheels
relative to the fully lowered footway.
A Code 27 contravention requires the vehicle to be adjacent to the fully lowered part of the
kerb, not the sloping/tapered section. As the council has provided no evidence of this, the
contravention is not proven and the PCN must be cancelled.
