If you don't contact them, they definitely won't.

I am not sure if PALS deals with parking tickets.

Contact PALS at the hospital first.

Hi, I’m writing to explain the situation regarding the parking ticket. I had a hospital appointment for my baby and after arriving I spent around 30 minutes trying to find a parking space but none were available. My baby’s condition became urgent and required A&E care, so I had to park the car outside the bay in order to get my baby into the hospital quickly. It was not my intention to park incorrectly, but I had to prioritise my baby’s medical emergency at the time. I would appreciate it if someone could advise me how I might challenge or defend this ticket given the circumstances? Thanks
