Come back if you get a Letter of Claim from a solicitor, to which you should respond, but along the lines in the referenced thread.

Hi J, the letter was ignore rather than appealed as both were suggested. Will advise keeper to ignore debt recovery plus. Thank you for your response, appreciated.

Did you appeal as advised?
Or ignore?
In either case, ignore Debt Recovery Plus.

Keeper of vehicle has received letter from Debt Recovery Plus. Should these be ignored, or what action should happen from here? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

There is no such thing as a register of owners.

If this is the first notice, if the registered keeper’s V5C is current, then it is issued too late to transfer liability from the driver to the registered keeper.

In any case, there is no keeper liability in Northern Ireland so even if the notice were “in time” there is still no keeper liability.

Ignore, or appeal along the lines of https://www.ftla.uk/private-parking-tickets/smart-parking-northern-ireland/msg73436/#msg73436, suitably modified.

Registered owner received a PCN via post (see link of images) on 11th March. Date of alleged contravention according to the letter was 20th February, and letter issued 5th March.

The driver of the vehicle parked in said carpark at 7.34am, and left at 12.38pm. The driver forgot to pay their parking until 8.39am, but did leave before the end time paid for. It may be important to note, that the driver paid for the parking via the RingGo app, incase this is pertinent to retrievable names on a payment list of some sort.

I am the registered keeper of the vehicle with the V5C and named on the letter received.
Im aware that cases in Northern Ireland are treated differently, however would like advice on how to proceed from here.
Would it be best for registered owner to submit an appeal or send any paragraphs I have seen on here etc or ignore all correspondence entirely?

I was not sure how to proceed as the driver paid for majority of the time, and may be identifiable through payment method used.

Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.
