Waltham Forest PCN Bus Lane - Whipps Cross Road
« on: »
Good morning,
I have received a PCN from WFDC for the alleged contravention 34 being in a bus lane.
On 16th January I was driving home from work and it appears I have entered the bus lane for a short distance before executing a left turn at the upcoming junction.

It appears I am liable, but can you suggest any way out

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Kind Regards

Hi and welcome.  I cannot see the PCN number so please type it out for us. I will draft something later. One way to beat this is to require their attendance at the Tribunal which is part of the law. They have not attended the last 4 I have done so the case is won.
I REGRET THAT, FOR THE PRESENT, I AM UNABLE TO TAKE ON ANY MORE CASES AS A REPRESENTATIVE AT THE LONDON TRIBUNALS. THIS IS FOR BOTH PERSONAL AND LEGAL REASONS. PLEASE DO NOT PM ME UNLESS YOU HAVE POSTED YOUR THREAD ON THE FORUM AND I WILL ATTEMPT TO GIVE ADVICE.

There are "known knowns" which we may never have wished to know. This applies to them. But in the field the idea that there are also "unknown unknowns" doesn't apply as they hide in the aleatoric lottery. I know this is true and need to be prepared knowing the "unknown unknowns" may well apply.

Your Google Drive link is set to 'Private', so wont give access. Please set to 'Public'

We haven't seen Whipps Cross on here for a while.

Thank you both for your prompt replies.

Hippocrates, the PCN is FR64506459

Incandescent, the GD folder should now be accessible.

Dear Sirs

Ref: PCN:    VRM:

I challenge the said PCN on the following grounds:

1. The video does not show any signs allegedly passed viz. 958 warning sign and 959B bus lane sign.

2. I put you to strict proof that the camera used has the relevant approval from the Secretary of State.

Please cancel the PCN.

Yours faithfully

Usual BS from them re 2009 certificate! They had no certificate at the date specified at all! Wait for the EN.

Wait for Hippocrates to reply, but the discount has gone, so it's a total no-brainer now to take them to London Tribunals, but first you have to submit some reps against the EN; probably the same reps as before, plus anything Hipp decides needs adding

Good morning,

Thanks Incandescent.

I think I need to submit any reps within the next day or so (28 days from 13th March) if there is anything else I need to add Hippocrates, please can you advise.

Kind Regards
Mel

Good morning,

I believe tomorrow is the final day to submit reps against the EN for this case. Below is what I submitted against the PCN; does anyone suggest I need to add anything else at this stage?
