TFL PCN For right turn in Mile end area
« on: »
Received this PCN for a prohibited right turn in Mile End area. Bancroft Road to be exact.

The turn would have been from the A11 into Bancroft Road I think. https://maps.app.goo.gl/zPqC7vZn1bE62Adg7

Any advice please for appealing this?

Here is a link to the documents

Can not seem to find a link to a video, so I assume there isn't one?

Appreciate any advice on this @cp8759

Thanks
JD

No PCN.

TFL still sends videos on DVD but no point in getting it unless there's hope of something such as allowed tribunal cases. Although TFL does make mistakes.

My memory tells me we have seen this location before, but I can't remember how long ago, so not sure what the outrurn was. GSV 2024 shows two No Right Turn signs one each side of the road.

So, OP, why did you turn with those signs in place ? High-sided vehicles like buses perhaps. Two buses passing in each bus lane would have obscured the signs, so we need to see the video. TfL are in the dark ages IT-wise, to send out videos on DVDs.It would be quite easy for them to join with other London councils and put it on-line but clearly they are not willing to do so for some obscure reason.

@Jazzydriver don't contact TFL at all, as per this sticky send me a PM and I'll sort this out.
