TFL PCN Charge

Hi All, Was informed now that Pepipoo is closed down for good, this forum was set up for similar purposes. So I am posting my pcn ...
Was hit with a CC pcn on the junction of grays inn road and swinton street. A quick googlestreet view shows that when turning onto Swinton street from Kings X cross, that lane isn't a CC zone (please see below).

ALthough it's not long ago, we are not able to remember every detail that would have gotten us the PCN and we are not able to find any video evidence on TFL's website that would show the alleged contravention. Does anyone know if this is possible at all please? We do want to go down the route of Representation and we have a little less than 5days now. So any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you All.

Looking at those photos and the location, I "think" you've been snapped coming out of Grey's inn road onto swinton street (camera here - I think you got snapped going past "The Lucas Arms".  That section is one way only - I might be wrong however that looks like the most likely camera for you to hit around that location.

Can you remember what journey you were making and how you ended up in the zone?

I was on kings cross road heading towards the city, and I had to get back towards St Pancras station so the only way i can remember was to use the ring road  to eventually get onto Grays Inn road and then I would have been on track. That's my very best assumption hence why a video evidence would hopefully confirm but it wasn't uploaded on the website?

If I send in a Representation on grounds that contravention didn't occur and request for the video to be sent, will this at least freeze the discount period? What are the possible chances of getting this pcn cancelled also?

The only way to get footage from TFL is to phone up and ask for them to send a DVD, if you request this they should put the PCN on hold while you wait for it to come in the post.

To be honest if you were in the congestion charging zone, these PCNs are virtually impossible to fight unless you have specific evidence about defective signage or a diversion.

yes I have submitted a request for video footage just so it helps recollect our thoughts as we were pretty certain we didn't deliberately enter the zone.
