Free Traffic Legal Advice

I received a ticket for parking in this bay.

I parked during 10 - 4 for less than 20 mins thinking I was allowed to because at the time I looked at the sign across the road which I assumed was the same restriction but turns out this side was 7 - 1 but I don't notice that at the time of parking.

I had a look at instant street view and the restriction sign looks like t might have been turned around to face the oncoming traffic rather than be facing the people parking I wonder if that might help me...

Anyways any ideas on getting this ticket cancelled are welcome!
