I’ve recently taken a new job. Self employed courier. I got sent into London. I thought I would enter the congestion zone, so the next morning I entered my registration and it said I needed to pay £24.50 for the congestion charge and the tunnel. I have not driven in London before or since this date, and as it showed up my reg, I paid the fee and thought it was a good job done… then a PCN arrived.
I understand that it’s telling me I paid for the wrong date. But I don’t recall entering a date of travel, it found my details and as I said, I have only ever made one journey… I genuinely thought I had paid. (I also have received another PCN for driving in a tunnel I wasn’t supposed to, I’ll do a seperate post for that)
Any help would be appreciated.
